Amber Welder is a 2016 graduate from Vancouver Career College’s Registered Massage Therapy program located in Kelowna B.C. Amber was born and raised in the beautiful Okanagan and is very excited to establish her massage career here in her home town.
Amber’s treatment style includes Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Deep Tissue work with a sensitivity to each individual’s tolerance for pressure. She is also capable of blending other massage modalities when needed to achieve the client’s specific long-term goals to help bring their body to optimal performance. She plans to further her studies in Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) and Active Release Techniques (ART) in the near future.
Amber’s interest in anatomy and passion for helping people drew her to the field of massage. As a healthcare practitioner, she believes in a whole-body approach to wellness. Amber believes to achieve optimal health and well-being an individual needs to be balanced not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually. She also strives to challenge herself to grow in these ways as often as possible.
Her goal is delivering quality and reliable client care while also striving to help clients improve their overall well-being and reach their long-term goals. She believes in comprehensive, individualized assessment while fully educating clients with the adequate homecare therefore empowering them in being proactive enablers of their own self-therapy.
In her personal time, Amber likes to keep active. She enjoys going to the gym, hiking, camping, and snowboarding. She also appreciates spending time with her family and friends.
