After graduating from New York Chiropractic College in December 2016 with her Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Kinesiology, Dr. Chris moved from Hamilton Ontario to North Vancouver BC, to make her childhood dream a reality.
After practicing in North Vancouver for almost 2 years, gaining experience and working with athletes while traveling with the UBC Track & Field team to NAAA Nationals, becoming a member of the Simon Frasier Sports Medicine Team, and assisting the Capilano Men’s Rugby team, she found her home in Kelowna October 2018. Since moving to Kelowna, Dr. Chris has become a board member of Kelowna Women in Business, has become known for her amazing mobility and movement workshops, and has created a strong community of Wildfire Women by hosting hiking and social events for women here in the Okanagan.
Dr. Chris has a unique approach, and treats the human body as a whole so her patients can achieve optimal biomechanical function, aka – basic human movement. By utilizing techniques such as Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization the McGill Method, basic soft tissue manipulation, and excellent diversified chiropractic manipulation techniques, Dr Chris can find the right recipe for your treatment, get you out of pain and achieving your next goal!
Dr. Chris has a long history of athletic achievement; which include becoming a Nationally Qualified Olympic Weightlifter, Varsity soccer play, competitive volleyball player, and a few podium finishes at local Crossfit events. This experience alone provides her with an excellent understanding of the needs and demands of the human body and the importance of recovery and self-care.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Chris can be found perfecting her lifts in the gym, coaching some classes at your local gyms, hiking, skiing, and spending time in or on the water. Dr. Chris makes movement part of her lifestyle, and she would love to guide you how to make it part of yours.
