Kylagh Cornford is a graduate of the 3000-hour Registered Massage Therapy program from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy. Her passions for helping people achieve their goals and understanding how things work makes massage therapy an ideal career.
Kylagh believes that everybody is designed uniquely and therefore requires an individualized approach. Her focus is on understanding her client’s condition and working with the body to find the best method for recovery. To accomplish this Kylagh uses palpation assessment, myofascial release, muscle manipulation and deep techniques in combination with an osteopathic approach to integrate the functioning of the body as a whole.
An exciting point in Kylagh’s career was having the opportunity to work with Rugby Canada and Rugby Japan during their Vancouver match in 2015. Her love for helping her clients understand how their body works through athletics led her to design and coach a running program for beginners.
Always seeking to learn, Kylagh is currently enrolled at TRU to earn a bachelor’s in health science. A highlight of her education is improving her ability to utilize recent research in her massage practice. When not in school, Kylagh loves exploring new places, preferably with her running or hiking shoes on! She also enjoys travelling and reading.
She looks forward to meeting new people in Kelowna and helping her client’s life healthy and pain free lives!
